Requirements:

As a part-time evening Area Supervisor / Janitor, you will:

• Supervise and support evening janitorial staff across assigned commercial buildings
• Conduct walkthroughs and quality inspections to ensure cleaning standards are met
• Assign tasks, set shift priorities, and ensure all work is completed on schedule
• Perform hands-on cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, surfaces, and common areas to company standards
• Empty and dispose of trash and waste properly per facility and safety protocols
• Restock cleaning supplies and equipment as needed
• Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or staffing concerns to management
• Serve as the on-site point of contact, ensuring client satisfaction every shift
• Uphold all company policies, cleaning regulations, and safety compliance standards

Additional Requirements:

• 5+ years of janitorial supervisory experience in commercial or medical facilities
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a background check
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and hold a team accountable to high standards
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and locations
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused
• Excellent communication skills, able to interact professionally with clients and staff
• Comfortable performing physical, hands-on cleaning duties throughout the shift
• Flexible and reliable, able to work weekends when required

Schedule

• Location: Yorktown, VA 23692
• Shift: Monday – Friday | 5:30 PM – 10:30 PM
• Some weekend availability required for special projects
• Hours: Part-time evening position
