About Us

PCS for People is the nation's largest nonprofit ITAD company, and we just opened a processing center in Virginia that provides free pickup and data destruction support to entities throughout our Commonwealth.

Our Mission
At PCs for People, we are passionate about bridging the digital divide by providing refurbished computers to eligible veterans, nonprofits, and people living in low-income and underserved communities.
Alongside hardware, we offer free digital literacy training and ongoing support to empower individuals with technology access. We also offer low-cost 5G hotspots for $20.00 and WiFi for 15.00 per month for those in need.

Free & Convenient Pickup: We handle the entire process, making it easy for you to choose a sustainable solution.

Data Security: Our data destruction services are fully compliant with HIPAA, NAID AAA, and NIST 800-88 standards (sanitization or physical destruction) for complete peace of mind.

R2 Recycling: All equipment is processed to the highest environmental standards (R2v3 compliant), guaranteeing a zero-landfill policy.

Documentation: You will receive a Certificate of Destruction and an Impact Report detailing your positive community contribution.
