The Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce will host the third part of a series focused on attracting and retaining talent on the Peninsula and in Hampton Roads. The previous events focused on transitioning service members and their families, and individuals moving directly from high school into the trades. This event will focus on young professionals and future leaders of our business community. We know that we are in a stiff competition for young talent with places like Washington, DC and Charlotte, NC.
A panel, moderated by Shelley Smith of Peninsula SHRM and Premier Rapport, will discuss obstacles, challenges and potential solutions to the attraction and retention of these future Peninsula leaders.
Panel members include Angela Neilan (President, Pen SHRM), Casey Roberts (Executive Director of New Horizons Regional Education Center) and Holli Wilson (Senior Executive Assistant at WM Jordan).
