The Festival honors the Working Watermen of the Chesapeake Bay and the Rich Coastal Heritage of Poquoson. The Poquoson Seafood Festival features one of the largest\, family friendly festivals in Eastern Virginia and Hampton Roads. The 3-day event features regional entertainment on 2 stages along with a juried arts & crafts show featuring nearly 175 artisans\, dozens of seafood food vendors highlighting the freshest catch of the Chesapeake Bay and a fun and interactive children's area.
